FREE STUFF!!!! Fill the Fieldhouse, Saturday at Dragon Basketball: 2011 Jetta, iPad, Over $2,000 in Prizes
On Saturday, Feb. 19, the Dragon Athletics Department will host the biggest give-a-way in department history. The Dragons will give-a-way a brand new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, an Apple iPad and over $2,000 in prizes and gift cards, all while attempting to set the Nemzek Hall basketball attendance record.
In addition to the give-a-ways, there will also be an attempt to break the current attendance record, with a goal of 2,500 people attending the game.
The on-going qualifying contest for the 2010-11 Dragon basketball season, to win the new Jetta, is sponsored by Valley Imports, the official car dealer of Dragon Athletics. Nine pre-qualifiers will compete in one final contest to win the new car.
The department will also give-a-way an Apple iPad and over $2,000 in prizes and gift cards sponsored by the 2010-11 Dragon Sports Media Corporate Sponsors. Prizes include gift cards, Dragon garb, free text-books and much more.
The women’s basketball game is set to begin at 6 p.m. and the men’s game will follow, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. The Dragons will also honor the seniors from the basketball teams, cheer team and dance team on Saturday.
