At the end of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week and International Education week (November 20th-21st), MSUM’s Learning Communities and partners will be hosting the Dragon Days of Action. This event will feature many different activities designed to serve our FM community, as well as teach students about both International and Local Hunger and Homelessness. These activities include: Fasting for 24 hours (unless not medically safe), sleeping in cardboard boxes overnight (optional), international and local speakers on hunger and homelessness, community service with your peers, and an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet to conclude the event. Do you want to experience Korean culture? Korea Club will host a Korea Night.
Event will take place on November 21 on Saturday at CMU ballroom (6-10 p.m.).
It is a cultural event. We prepared dance, singing, traditional clothes fashion show and Taekwondo (Korean traditional martial arts) performances and delicious Korean food.

Use the attached weekly request form or pick up a form at the Student Union & Activities Administration Office, CMU 216. Completed forms should be brought to the Administration Office for processing. Student organizations may request two rooms once a week with a maximum of six reserved hours per week. If two rooms are needed, a separate form must be completed for each room. MSUM Accounting Club will meet Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Center for Business room 109. Food will be provided, followed by three outside speakers with diverse accounting backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.
Nepali Student Association (NSA) would like to invite you all to it’s biggest annual event “Nepal Night” on November 14, Saturday at CMU Ballroom.
Nepal Night is an annual event hosted by NSA where we showcase our culture and tradition in order to promote diversity on campus among all the non-Nepalese students attending. This event also gives Nepali students as well as people in the community an opportunity to socialize.

Panhellenic Council has teamed up with various campus organizations to bring you a week of fun filled events for the Panhellenic Week of Service. These events are aimed at raising money for Circle of Sisterhood, an organization focused on building schools for in foreign countries where education is scarce.

The Economic Society has been invited by the Minnesota State Paralegal Association Moorhead to attend their Guest Speaker Event on November 12th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in CMU 101. They will be hosting Criminal Defense Attorney Lindsey Haugen and his Paralegal from the Haugen and Moeckel law firm along with Paralegal Specialist Deb Wilson and United States Attorney Chris Myers from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. They will ask the speakers to share information about their career background, daily tasks, team interaction, and career advice. There also will alot time for you to ask any other questions.

Model of UN team participated in the Model Arab League Upper Midwest Conference at University of North Dakota this weekend. Palestine and United Arab Emirates were the countries that 6 students from MSUM: Kelsey Slattery, Daniela Kossowski, Jamaal Abegaz, Taysir Bader, Brett Rice, David Kujawa, Michael Stilwell, and Zaxhari Anderson represented during their time in Grand Forks.
