Volunteer at Eventide
Friday, April 13 | 1:30-5 p.m. | Eventide
Have you always been looking for opportunities to get involved in the Fargo Moorhead community but don’t know how? Do you need your volunteer hours completed before the end of the semester? We’ve got you covered! Join the Eventide nursing home project on Friday, April 13 anytime between 1:30-5 p.m.
Project Goal
This project is designed to encourage community involvement from students at MSUM. The project is also aimed at providing senior citizens in the community a jolly good time because they deserve to be appreciated. Project activities include manicure treatment, seated yoga, and pot planting.
Where you fit into the picture?
All we need is your willingness to serve, your presence, a helpful attitude, and an enthusiastic outlook.
If you can’t make it on April 13 but still want to help, you are more than welcomed to make donations to support the project. Boxes can be found at 2nd floor MacLean, 1st floor Lommen, and at the CMU (in front of the C-store).
What we will need:
Manicure supplies (nail polish in different colors, nail file, nail clippers, hand cream, etc.)
Gardening supplies (gardening gloves, hand fork, pruner, transplanter, watering can, potting soil, soil thermometer)
For more information, contact Emily at meesterem@mnstate.edu or Theodora at amuahth@mnstate.edu, students in Theresa Hest’s Leadership Seminar class.

It’s time to turn your helping mode on! The community needs you.
