MSUM is hosting a new event for high school students called “College Connections Careers” on Thursday, March 30. This event is an opportunity for local high school students to interact with local professionals and employers to learn about the connection between college and careers.
To make this event an success we need volunteers for a few things: transferring high school students from session to session around campus (about a 20 minute task between sessions) and then college students to chat with the high school students during lunch (you would get lunch as well). Mark Your Calendar for the 10th Annual Go Pink with the Dragons! This year’s event is set for February 6-10, 2017 and celebrates 10 years of bringing awareness to breast cancer and other cancers. Sign up to volunteer at the Go Pink volunteer online sign-up.

Moorhead Schools is starting an after school soccer training program for elementary school kids at Ellen Hopkins and Robert Asp elementary schools in Moorhead. The program runs Monday-Thursday from 2:45-4 p.m. Sept. 19 – Oct. 13. We are looking for volunteers on any of those days.
You don’t need to be good at soccer to volunteer.
Minnesota State University Moorhead is proud to join many Fargo-Moorhead organizations in the support of the 18th Annual School Supply Drive, sponsored by the United Way of Cass-Clay.
The School Supply Drive is an annual project that creates lasting change in the community by providing new a new backpack and a basic set of school supplies to children in Cass and Clay counties. Last year, 5,260 local students grades K-12 were equipped with a backpacks and set of school supplies. More than 500 volunteers donated a tremendous amount of supplies and time to help students in the community be confident and prepared for school.

Join us at MSUM on May 21 to cheer for your 2016 Fargo Marathon runners! With plenty of parking and lots of room to set up your cheering section, there’s no better place to watch the race. See your runners pass twice as they loop through campus, and listen to live music from local bands while you wait. Grab a chair and some friends, and come on over to MSUM: the best place to watch the race.
