Whether we like it or not, interpersonal conflict occurs daily in our workplaces and with the people we serve. Many people are uncomfortable with conflict and avoid problem areas with the hope that the issues will just go away. Learning how to manage these conflicts more effectively can save valuable relationships at work. We will talk about the fundamental, natural experience of conflict and how it affects us and others. Emily Holth, owner of Sustainable Solution Services, will provide strategies for navigating conflict and will include examples from faculty/staff-student interactions.
