“Reel Injun” is a 2009 Canadian documentary that explore the various stereotypes about Natives in film and outlines the evolution of cinema’s depiction of Native people, panning from the silent film era to today. View hundreds of classic and recent Hollywood movie clips and interviews with celebrated Native and non-Native celebrities, activists, film critics, and historians. Refreshments will be served.
