Fat Girls Hiking Body Love Workshop, Group Hike to Maplewood State Park

Do you need some body positive messaging in your life? Do you love being out in nature? Fat Girls Hiking co-founder Summer Michaud-Skog is coming to campus for two events:
- Body Love Workshop (Thursday, Sept. 28, 3-4 p.m., Women’s Center) – focuses on joyful movement, self-care, the body love spectrum and our connection with nature and ourselves. Open to students of all body types and gender identities.
- Group Hike at Maplewood State Park, MN (Friday, Sept. 29, 2-7 p.m.) – travel with Summer and continue the discussion about body positivity in this beautiful natural setting during fall’s peak. Transportation and snacks provided. Depart from CMU parking lot at 2 p.m. Open to students of all body types and gender identities. Hike is limited to 20 participants. Registration required.
