Economics program hosts Twin Cities Alumni Reunion
Alumni, current students, faculty members, and guests of the MSUM Economics program were among the fifty people gathered in the Twin Cities on April 27, 2017. Economics alumnus David Slovick hosted current students and faculty members at Allina Health in Minneapolis, a not-for-profit health care organization that operates over 90 clinics and 12 hospitals in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Slovick gave a presentation describing how his degree in Economics and experience in the insurance and healthcare industries led him to his current role as a Healthcare Analyst for Allina Health. The evening concluded with an Alumni Reunion at Rojo Mexican Grill in St. Louis Park at which alumni interacted with MSUM President Anne Blackhurst, Dean Randy Cagle of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences, Leo Ringey of the MSUM Alumni Foundation, faculty members, current students, and other alumni.
