Marcil Center for Innovative Journalism Selects Apprentices
Six seniors from Minnesota State University Moorhead are working with Forum Communications Company professionals in a semester-long apprenticeship program. The students shadow professionals as well as produce digital content and blogs for the Forum.
Students and majors include: Trent Zbichorski, North Prairie, Wis., mass communication with an emphasis in broadcast journalism, Josie Gereszek, Bismarck, N.D., multimedia journalism, Austin Cuka, New London, Minn., advertising and public relations, Leandra Zeller, Wahpeton, N.D. , communication studies with a minor in public relations and leadership, Anna Soderholm, West Fargo, advertising and public relations, and Alexandra Gilbertson, Moorhead, photojournalism.
The Marcil Center nurtures and develops future journalists as they study media and innovative communication strategies.
