Dr. Claudia Gates presented the contents of her presentation titled “College Students as Critical Readers: Developing New Strategies for Reading Digital Texts” at the OCTELA conference in Ohio. Teachers learned how to combine comprehension strategies with digital text to encourage critical reading in the classroom.
Six seniors from Minnesota State University Moorhead are working with Forum Communications Company professionals in a semester-long apprenticeship program.
