A win on Friday for MSUM would:
–improve their nonconference record under Head Coach Chad Walthall to 19-5.
–be the Dragons’ sixth straight home win.
–be MSUM’s third straight win over the Cobbers.
–help them to their third straight 3-0 start.

The 8th Street rivalry has spanned many years and the latest installment takes place on the hardwood as the MSU Moorhead men’s basketball team faces the Concordia College Cobbers at Nemzek Fieldhouse on November 22 at 7 P.M. The night is themed ‘Pop the Cobbers’ and features a free small popcorn for everyone through the door as well as an Intramural contest between the two institutions at halftime.

The halftime game between the Cobbers and Dragons will feature a man and a woman from each school facing off in a three-point contest. Each participant will have 60 seconds to make five shots from the right corner, top of the key and the left corner. The fifth ball will be a two-point moneyball to make the game more interesting.
