The EMS room scheduling system will be down for two weeks July 22–August 5. NO ONE will have access to the system during this time. All events, meetings, courses, etc held during this time MUST be scheduled in EMS by 12:00 pm (noon) on July 21, so the appropriate reports can be run to sustain maintenance, security, room cards, hvac, etc while the system is down. On Sunday, Dec. 8 between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., EMS will be unavailable for maintenance. Users attempting to use EMS (Desktop, Virtual & MasterCalendar) will get the status page http://status.mnscu.edu/ems, which will be updated to let them know why it is down and when we expect it backup. www.mnstate.edu/schedule
What is happening in Scheduling? MSUM will be getting an upgrade to our EMS software. What does that mean for us at MSUM? It means we will be upgrading from EMS Enterprise to EMS Campus. We will continue to have VirtualEMS, Master Calendar and the EMS Web Client. When will the cutover be happening?
Upgrade Status MSUM Information Technology and key scheduling personnel worked with MnSCU today to move to an upgraded version of Dean Evan’s scheduling software EMS. During the process of moving from our current system to the new one issues arose around being able to login and access the system properly.
