The International Water Institute has recently completed a LiDAR mapping project for the entire U.S. portion of the Red River Basin. The 2010 Regional Diversity Conference, entitled “Embracing Diversity in the Public and Private Sectors,” will be held August 11, 2010 at Knutson Campus Center & Jones Conference Center at Concordia College in Moorhead. Sigma Pi Sigma, the Physics Honors Society, inducted four new MSUM members on in a ceremony including all of the Tri-College Physics Departments on April 22. The inducted students, chosen based on academic excellence and service to the community, were seniors Heather Cegla, Fenner Colson and Kristin Rosenau, and sophomore Murshid Saqlain.
