Walk the Dragon

The week of April 12-16, students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public can participate in walking a six-site route throughout campus—WALK THE DRAGON! After stopping at the designated areas and receiving an official stamp, the route form is turned into the Bookstore. For each completed route the Bookstore will donate $3 toward Athletics – up to $5000! Click headline for more information.

Students Count in the 2010 Census

Counting every person in America is no easy feat. That’s why the U.S. Census Bureau needs your help. This month, every household will receive a census form. The census is a count of everyone in the United States, including citizens, non-U.S. students, and international students. Student Leadership Scholarship deadline April 2

Student leaders at a MnSCU University are encouraged to apply for the Jared P. Stene Student Leaders Scholarship, named in memory of a student leader at Winona State University who passed away in November 2007. The $500 scholarship is open to any major at any grade level and requires a minimum 2.5 GPA. Application deadline is April 2. Click headline for application information.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2010-2011 Ambassador/Tour Guide Program! Refer your “Top Gun…best of the best” students to apply to be an Ambassador/Tour Guide. Graphic Design majors win Gold & Silver in ND ADDY Awards

MSUM students majoring in graphic design have come away from the annual American Advertising Federation of North Dakota’s annual award show with Gold and Silver ADDY Awards plus the Larry Gauper Scholarship for student excellence. Alex Ehlen from Fargo won two gold, one silver, and the Larry Gauper Scholarship. Sarah Clark of Fargo won one gold and silver awards. Click headline for more information.
