Visiting lecturer presents on “Crisis at the BBC?” Nov. 19

Tom Nicholls, Senior Lecturer in Media Production at Lincoln University in the UK, will present on “Crisis at the BBC? Recent events and some predictions for the future,” at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 in King Hall 110. The presentation is open to the public, and is a part of MSUM’s celebration of InternationalEducation Week. In addition, Prof. Nicholls will meet with Lincoln exchange students currently studying here and the four MSUM students who will spend spring semester at Lincoln. Passport update

The Post Office has informed us that you need to bring a photocopy of both sides of your driver’s license or other ID, along with the original, when you apply for your passport on campus. Please note: If you are renewing your passport, you should do it by mail and not at the drive on Nov. 17. Fill in the renewal passport application form (travel.state.gov or FR153), and mail it with your old passport, two updated photos (can be taken in FR153), and the fee of $75. You do not need to pay the processing fee of $25, but it is recommended to send it via a secure delivery system.
