MSUM students host Celebration of Nations April 9

MSUM students will host a Celebration of Nations Friday, April 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom. Students and community members representing a variety of countries from around the world will exhibit items from their homeland, cook their unique foods, and share their culture through entertainment, food and fashion. Study abroad scholarship deadline is April 1

MSUM has established an endowed scholarship for students participating in study abroad programs. Named for former Vice President of Public Affairs Dr. Gerry Haukebo (who established the Office of International Programs in 1987), this $500 scholarship will be awarded to one student studying abroad for the entire2010-11 academic year on an MSUM or MSUM-affiliated program. Application deadline is April 1, 2010 for the 2010-11 award.
