International Education Week Nov. 16-20

A variety of events are taking place during International Education Week: talks about the countries of Nigeria, Nepal, Haiti, Congo and others, as well as world religions; food from around the world; passport drive; various forms of dance; and much more. Click the headline to read all the details.

Passport drive scheduled

International Programs, in conjunction with the Moorhead Post Office, is once again sponsoring a passport drive on campus, Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. in Flora Frick lounge. Photos may be taken in the OIP on the day for a special price of $5. For further information, contact OIP at 2956 or stop by FR153. Forms are available at travel.state.gov. This activity is part of MSUM’s annual International Education Week celebration.

Passport drive scheduled

International Programs will once again be offering an on-campus passport drive during its annual celebration of International Education Week. The Moorhead Post Office will send a passport officer to take applications on Tuesday, Nov. 17 between 11a.m.-1:00 p.m. (or later if needed). Oxford Prof Allan Chapman lectures on Wednesday

Dr. Allan Chapman from Oxford University’s Wadham College presents his annual public lecture on “From Moon Men to Black Holes: How 400 years of the telescope has re-shaped our sense of reality” at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23 in MSUM’s Science Lab 104.
