Students in this course study ecological, political and economic strategies for conservation of biodiversity using a 10-day trip to Costa Rica over March break as a case study. Paul Kramer‘s Dean’s Lecture, originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 20, has been rescheduled to Thursday, Feb. 10 at 3 pm, in CMU 101. The talk, titled “Roberts’ Rules of Order: Reflections on the U.S. Supreme Court,” will explore the major cases of the current Supreme Court term and attempt to define any major trends emanating from the Roberts Court.
