Passport to Workday, Passport #5

Workday Training Program, Passport #5

The Workday Training Program launches in early April. Regardless of your future role in Workday, completing training is required of all users. The program will provide just-in-time training to support the tasks you need to complete in Workday. While some people may utilize Workday daily, others may only access the system to enter their time and thus require a different level of training.

In Passport #5, Workday Training Program, learn how the NextGen Project will enroll all employees in the appropriate level, and delivery method, of training needed to perform their roles. Delivery methods may include:

  • Instructor-Lead (ILT)
  • Virtual Instructor-Lead (VILT)
  • Computer-Based (CBT)
  • Job Aids (JAs) & Quick Reference Guides (QRGs)

All employees have at least one security role in Workday called Employee as Self. This role allows you to view personal information, submit timesheets, and much more. All employees will complete at least three hours of training.

Passport #5 contains the important “Training To-Do Checklist.” Be sure to download this passport for future reference!
