Keri DeSutter Nominated for Dragon Pride Recognition
We recognize Keri DeSutter, director of teacher education in the School of Teaching and Learning, for her involvement in community programs across Minnesota to bring diverse teacher candidates to campus.
Julia Poplin says, ” She takes seriously the task to recruit, train, and support teachers in this time of education crisis.
In addition to these above-and-beyond efforts, she is a wonderful colleague and friend. Students (and, colleagues) are regularly found outside her office waiting for Dr. DeSutter’s help and advice, and I have never seen her turn someone away from her door, despite how extraordinarily busy she is.
It’s been a privilege to be mentored by her and to learn from her example as an educator, scholar, and leader.”
