GO! TEAM wins 6 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators ‘Best of’ Awards
The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has honored the MSUM GO! TEAM with five ‘Best of’ Awards for 2021-22, pushing their total to 27 national awards since 2014.
“We are extremely proud of our staff and the GO! TEAM students who work incredibly hard to make MSUM National Champions in the things we do behind the scenes,” said MSUM athletics director Chad Markuson. “The GO! TEAM are the storytellers of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff and they continue to make a major impact on the student-athlete experience here at MSUM.”
Leading the GO! TEAM is assistant athletics director Jon Wepking who said, “This is an unreal honor from NACMA and an incredible testament to the GO! TEAM and their ability to attack challenges head-on with creative innovations and high-level execution. Have to thank the MSUM Foundation, Travis Anderson, Phil Herkenhoff, SAAC, Papa John’s, Microtel, Sodexo, and Alex Nelson for making this possible. Of course a big thanks to the whole GO! TEAM who share every success because without every little thing they do, we would not be able to push these ideas to this level.”
The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has selected its 2021-22 “Best Of” award winners who were announced to the membership during the NACMA Convention on June 29. Initiated in 2003, the NACMA “Best Of” Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness.
MSUM falls into Group III which represents all Division II Institutions, Division III Institutions, NAIA Institutions, Junior College Institutions, Community College Institutions, and Canadian Institutions. MSUM began submitting entries for the ‘Best of’ awards in 2014. Below is a full list of NACMA ‘Best of Awards’ for MSUM since their first entry.
