MSUM is upgrading the campus listserv to a newer version on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The listserv environment will NOT be available from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly regarding any information that may need to go out on Tuesday. There will be no Employee or Student News on Feb. 22.

The major changes are the following.

  • Login to manage lists is done with your starID and starID password.
  • When you are logged in, you will see and manage all your owned lists. There is not a separate login for each listserv. 
  • Changing list settings has a new interface and will look very different than before.
  • The interface for moderating messages
  • Improved ability to unsubscribe from lists where membership is optional.

We know there will be questions and concerns with implementing a new system, which is why we are sending out this message notifying you of the upcoming change. 

Currently, the server is located at the following link. The “” is just a placeholder before we change it over to “” that you all know. Anywhere you see will be changed to when the change is implemented.
