Karen Schwartz is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with a focus on Graphic Design. She’s spent the last 23 years at Hendlin, a creative, marketing and production agency in Minneapolis, where she is the Creative Director.

At Hendlin, Karen works with brands as diverse as 3M, Blue Cross, Buffalo Wild Wings, General Mills, Ecolab, Land O’Lakes, Yamaha, Cargill, Toro and the Make A Wish Foundation.

Her presentation, Creating Quietly in a Loud World, reflects her journey from the farm lands of Western North Dakota to leading a creative team through the wilds of today’s digital landscape.

The quiet creative often has the best ideas, because they’ve done the best listening.
