Learn the positive power of the negative, the basic uses of “you bet,” and how to accept food on the third offer when The 55th anniversary season of the Straw Hat Players Summer Theatre opens May 29 with the musical How to Talk Minnesotan. The show runs four nights, closing on June 1, on the Hansen Theatre stage.

The second show in the summer line-up is the nostalgia-filled revue All Hands On Deck!, running June 5 to 8 on the Gaede Stage. The music features singing and dancing based on Bob Hope’s 1942 USO tour to the troops.

The Last Five Years is set for June 12 to 15 on the Gaede Stage. This musical is an emotionally powerful look at two New Yorkers who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.

The season closes with Guys and Dolls, hailed as one of the best musical comedies ever composed. Guys and Dolls runs June 19 to 22 on the Hansen Theatre stage.
