Arnar organizes scholarly panel at College of Art Association in Los Angeles

Anna Sigrídur Arnar, School of Art, recently organized a scholarly panel at the College Art Association in Los Angeles titled “A Critical Conversation on Affect Theory, Neuroscience, and Art-Science Collaborations.” The panel brought together innovative scholars and artists including Eduardo Kac and James Elkins (School of the Art Institute of Chicago) as well as Warren Neidich (Weissensee Kunst Hochschule Berlin), Sally McKay (McMaster University) and Barbara Maria Stafford (University of Chicago) to explore the origins of current ideas of vision, perception, sensation, mental imagery, and subjectivity. The panel was followed by a reception at the Museum of Jurassic Technology.
