Did you know walking 10,000 steps a day will burn approximately an extra 2,700 calories per week? Walking helps achieve good health and weight loss. Get your “WALK ON” with the WALKtober challenge sponsored by the Hendrix Wellness educators during the month of October. All faculty, staff and students are eligible to participate. Individuals who walk 10,000 steps 4 times each week will be entered in weekly prize drawings. The individual who met the requirements for all of the weeks will be entered in a grand prize drawing.
