MSUM’s Earth Day Festival hosted by SSA

Sustainable Students Association will be hosting MSUM’s annual Earth Day Festival on Thursday, April 20. This event is free and open to anyone in the community!
The activities will start at 12 p.m. with free organic food wraps for the first 90 people. At 12:30 p.m. we will have three speakers speak on sustainability, including President Anne! Then at 2 p.m. student bands/acoustic acts will play including Nicholas Rush, Monday Night, Ken and Ky, Abrahammock, and Low Speed Chase. Check out the local sustainable organizations/businesses as well as some student organizations’ tables from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Pick up a T-shirt or bring your own item to tie dye from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Stick around after to enjoy some s’mores from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Then head over to the Planetarium to view Planet Ocean at 6 with a second showing at 8 p.m. Yard games will be available from 12 to 6 p.m.
