Quality Matters is an international organization recognized as a leader in quality assurance for online education. MSUM is a subscribing member through the Minnesota Online Quality Initiative. The mission of QM is to promote and improve the quality of online education and student learning through:

• Development of current, research-supported, and practice-based quality standards.
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Providing professional development.
• Peer review and certification of quality in online education.
