Power in Diversity Conference
The annual Power in Diversity Conference will be held at St. Cloud State University from Jan. 26-28, 2017.
The 8th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference will offer opportunities for personal growth and leadership development to college students of color and underrepresented students through a variety of workshops, keynote addresses, and programs. It will also provide a forum for student leaders to connect with others from colleges and universities across the region. Conference attendees will learn from leadership activities that will assist in the development and enhancement of one’s own skills to successfully navigate through college and into the workforce and to be a support for other students as well. MSUM students interested in attending the conference can apply for sponsorship through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The application is available in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (CMU 120) and online at mnstate.edu/diversity. The deadline to apply is Jan. 13, 2017. Sponsorship through the ODI would cover the cost of registration, transportation, and lodging for the conference.
The conference includes a graduate school resource fair, internship and job fair, workshops, keynote speakers, entertainment, and more!
