Sillerud Admitted to American Nurses Advocacy Institute Fellowship Program

Brandi Sillerud, DNP, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, assistant professor and MHA graduate program coordinator in the School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership, was admitted to the American Nurses Advocacy Institute Fellowship program.

The program is sponsored by the American Nurses Association. The Minnesota Organization of Retired Nurses recommended Sillerud’s admission to the program representing Minnesota. She was accepted as one of only 24 nurses in the nation into this cohort.

Her yearlong fellowship experience will consist of bimonthly conference calls, working on an activity to impact policy for the state of Minnesota, and a trip to Washington, D.C., to work with legislators in October.
