Anna Arnar introduced a scholarly panel on the topic of “Digital Artists’ Books: New Critical Vocabularies”

Anna Arnar, School of Visual Arts, organized and introduced a scholarly panel devoted to the topic of “Digital Artists’ Books: New Critical Vocabularies” at the College Art Association conference held in Washington D.C. The panel sought to develop new critical vocabularies for the purposes of analyzing this kind of digital object and examining the modes of experience it generates. It also examined the phenomenology of the digital artist’s book and considered the extent to which it marks a new step in the history of print or a discontinuous break with the past.
