Center for Innovative Business Solutions receives honorable mention for Innovation in Business Education
The College of Business and Innovation received honorable mention in the MidAmerican Business Deans Association 2015 Innovation in Business Education Award for its Center for Innovative Business Solutions (CIBS).
The awards program encourages innovation in the pursuit of excellence in business education by recognizing creative and unique programs that advance the quality of education and the management of resources in business schools.
The CIBS engages students in experiential learning projects, where they serve as consultants to determine solutions and recommendations to existing real-world problems identified by local and regional businesses. Faculty guide, instruct, advise and coach students as they apply their academic knowledge while developing essential business and professional skills.
