Jane Melander presented at the Minnesota D2L IGNITE Regional Users Conference

Jane Melander, Instructional Technology Services, presented at the Minnesota D2L IGNITE Regional Users Conference held April 24 in Minneapolis, MN and the MnSCU IT Conference held April 28-29 in Brainerd, MN. In her presentation titled “Top 10 Ways to Make Your Digital Content Accessible,” Jane outlined steps that faculty and staff can use to make course materials and campus information accessible for all users, including those with disabilities.

Much of the information for her presentation was gleaned from the Web Accessibility website offered by Minnesota Learning Commons and the Web Accessibility MOOC for Online Educators offered by D2L Open Courses and Portland Community College.
