Call for Proposals for D2L Ignite Minnesota 2015

Proposals are being accepted for D2L Ignite Minnesota 2015, to be held Friday, April 24, 2015 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Central Time) at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest, 5801 Opus Parkway, Minneapolis, MN.

Proposals will be accepted until February 13, 2015 on the Brightspace by D2L website.

The conference will showcase many aspects of teaching and learning with the D2L Learning Management System and will also feature sessions that provide information about best practices for course design based on the Quality Matters standards. This event is open to all Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, faculty and staff and K-12 educators. Participants from other states are also welcome.

Session proposals are being sought from statewide MnSCU and K-12 faculty and teachers, as well as staff and administrators, for sessions which fall into one of these four tracks:

– Teaching and Learning
– Support and Training
– Program Management/Collaboration Planning
– Vendor (tools that integrate with D2L)

Sessions that focus on D2L and/or the Quality Matters Standards and Process will be given preference.
