Joel Beseler Thompson to serve as Interim Assistant Director in Office of Undergraduate Admissions
I am pleased to announce that Joel Beseler Thompson has agreed to serve as Interim Assistant Director in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Joel earned his Associate of Arts in Paramedic Technology from Bismarck State College, and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Concordia College. Joel joined the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in 2012 as a Data Analyst. Prior to joining MSUM he served as a Web Developer and Data Analyst at Concordia College from 2008-2012. In addition, he served as an Assistant Area Manager and Recreation Specialist for the West Fargo Park District, and as a Manager at the Great Northern Bicycle Company.
As Interim Assistant Director of Admissions, Joel will direct and manage all aspects of the admissions application process, administer all facets of recruitment and admissions communications, and generate and analyze reports from our Hobson’s Customer Relations Management system. He will serve as the liaison to the campus community on all matters related to processing applications and also direct and supervise the daily operations in the processing department.
Joel is a confident leader and he is very enthusiastic to work cooperatively with campus stakeholders to ensure a seamless admissions process experience for all prospective students.
