Ethics Day

Lunch served beginning at 11:45 a.m.
Professionals from local and regional businesses and industries will be on campus to speak to students in courses about ethical dilemmas they have faced in their careers and how they have resolved these dilemmas.
Panelist Biographies
Lori Johnson
MBA, CPA, CGMA is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at MSUM. She also works as a Business Advisor/Corporate Officer for NetWork Center, Inc. in Fargo. Lori has previously worked at Charles Bailly and Co. and Great Plains Software.
Lloyd Nelson
VP of Administration & Development, Evolution 1. Mr. Nelson leads the Financial, Human Resources and Administration teams of Evolution 1. He counsels the executive team on strategies for growth and is responsible for facilities management in both Minneapolis and Fargo. Prior to joining Evolution 1, Lloyd worked for Microsoft Corporation as a Director of Business Development and he also spent time as General Manager of the Enterprise Reporting Group for Microsoft Great Plains software. Lloyd holds an MBA and a B.S. in Economics from NDSU as well as management certifications from Harvard University and the University of Chicago.
Zac Paulson
With over 13 years in solution building, Zac Paulson brings his expertise of looking at the clients goals, strategy, and vision to be sure all objectives are met with the technology solutions proposed. As President of Managed Services for TrueIT, his responsibilities include process development, consulting, and delivery management. He works with stakeholders of each engagement to ensure communication and expectations line up with reality and strategy for growth and maintenance.
With each client onboarding, stakeholders are guided through the process of empathization, stabilization, and then Zac’s favorite part, Strategy. His philosophy of constant and never-ending improvement doesn’t just stop with TrueIT. Instead, it resonates through to the client and the use of technology as a business accelerator.
Zac has been with TrueIT and his partners refining managed IT services and leveraged technologies since 2004 and serves thousands of users and a myriad of infrastructure. Ultimately he works to deliver “Not Just Technology… TrueIT.”
Matthew Von Pinnon
Editor, Forum Communications. Mr. Von Pinnon has worked at the Forum for the past 19 years, the last six as editor. He started at The Forum as a reporter intern, then worked as a copy editor and page designer before returning to reporting and editing. Mr. Von Pinnon grew up a block from MSUM and became a Dragon, where he was editor of the student newspaper and started the men’s soccer club. He graduated from MSUM with a degree in Mass Communications.
