Visiting Artist Exhibition: M.A. Papanek-Miller and Jenni Brant
The Department of Art and Design invites the public to the Visiting Artist Exhibition: M.A. Papanek-Miller & Jenni Brant at the Roland Dille Center for Arts Gallery (CA 155), on view from Jan. 13 – 30. M.A. Papanek-Miller is a mixed media artist working primarily with woven and layered images that provoke environmental concerns specifically with animals and regarding water access, use and ownership. Jenni Brant is a ceramic artist who creates elegantly crafted serving vessels and dinnerware meant to ritualize, celebrate and bring merriment to the everyday activities of eating and serving food.
Opening reception: Thursday, Jan. 23, 4 – 6 p.m. Artist talk in the gallery, 5 p.m.
Gallery Hours are Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
