Student dragon news listserv changes to a daily digest

As of March 18, 2013 the student dragon news listserv will be deactivated, and the university will implement a digest format for Student News. The intent of the digested Student News is to limit the amount of emails sent through listservs and to better communicate with the student body.

Student News will be a daily email sent between 9 and 10 a.m. Monday through Friday, mid-August through mid-May. The email will include headlines and a brief paragraph of news and events. The reader will have the option to click on each entry to read more on this web page:

This means submissions to student dragon news will no longer be sent instantly. If you’d like to submit an event or news item to Student News, you will be able to do so through the submission form (be sure to check Student News). Submissions sent by 4 p.m. will be posted in the next morning’s email. Submissions sent after 4 p.m. will be posted two days from the submission posting date. To have your news or event included in Monday’s email, you’ll need to submit by 4 p.m. Friday.

During the summer months, the email will go out weekly or as needed.
