Horizon Middle School students on campus today
Eighth graders from Horizon Middle School in Moorhead will be on campus today from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Students will be attending several science outreach activities: a Planetarium program, working with college students from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and navigating a GPS course on the mall.
If you are walking through the mall area during this time period and see pails in snowbanks that contain a red/black cloth bag inside, these are the destinations for the GPS activity.
Each bag has a rock sample the students must identify as a part of the activity.
Usually the boulders on the mall are utilized for this, but because of the snow, smaller samples are being used.
Please do not move the pails.
