Go Pink Scholarship – Deadline is December 14

The deadline to apply for the Go Pink Scholarship is Dec. 14, 2012.   You can pick up an application in the Athletic department (Nemzek 106) or by contacting Gloria at riopelg@mnstate.edu or Ashley at Armstrong@mnstate.edu or by calling 218.477.5824.

Eligibility:

• Enrolled at Minnesota State University Moorhead during the full 2012-13 academic
  year (One scholarship will be awarded to a student-athlete and one scholarship
  will be awarded to a non-student-athlete.)
• Taking a minimum of 12 credits per semester as an undergraduate student with
  the majority on the MSUM campus
• Satisfactory academic progress
• Student-athlete must meet NCAA eligibility requirements
• Attendance on the MSUM campus for 2012-13. (Excludes National Student Exchange,
  Eurospring, & Portsmouth Programs), or Extenuating circumstances as considered by the application committee

Award Terms:

• To be applied to tuition, books and/or fees through Financial Aid
• Valid only for 2012-13 spring semester
• Award will be reported to Financial Aid as a scholarship

Judging Criteria

• Applicant is a cancer survivor or has an immediate family member who has been directly
  affected by cancer (Immediate family members are your mother, father, brothers
  and sisters).
• Evidence of service and leadership in bringing awareness to others regarding the
  importance of medical screening and early detection of cancer

Completed application must be received by 4:00 p.m, Dec. 14, 2012
