Steve Lindaas attended the AAPT conference

Steve Lindaas, Physics and Astronomy, attended the summer AAPT (American Association of Physics Teachers) conference in Philadelphia from July 28 to August 1. He attended a workshop on “Using FPGAs in the Digital Lab” and gave an invited talk “Elementary Electronics: From Simple to Sophisticated Circuits” in the session on Labs at Many Levels.

As vice-chair of the Committee on Science Education for the Public he was involved in planning for the next two AAPT conferences. He was also tapped to participate as a mentor in a new effort to network with early career professionals at the national meetings.
