Harlem Gospel Choir to teach high school, college students

Members of the Harlem Gospel Choir will teach 160 high school and college students, as well as members of a local Lutheran church, their particular brand of gospel music Thursday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. in Hansen Theatre. High school choir students from Fargo North, Fargo South, Oak Grove and Shanley high schools, as well as members of MSUM’s Concert Choir and a few members of Fargo’s 1st Lutheran Church choir, are participating. The workshop is funded by the Cheryl Nelson Lossett Performing Arts Series and music faculty member Dr. Rod Rothlisberger. Harlem Gospel Choir performs in Hansen Theatre Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m., the third event in the Series this year. Tickets are available at the MSUM Box Office or on the web.
