Free Women in Business seminar Oct. 9
A free Women in Business seminar will be held Saturday, October 9 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom. Topics include value of a business plan with Donovan Wadholm, Regional Director, NDSBDC and Valerie Benson, Vice President, U.S. Bank; marketing with social media, with Libby Hall, Digital Strategist, Flint Communications; leadership within with Teresa Lewis, owner of The Growth Coach; and keynote speaker Pam McGee, Business Consultant and Principal of pMcGee Consulting.
McGee will share her diverse business adventures; from owning her own trucking firm to holding a leadership role at Microsoft, and later in her role of educator as an Assistant Professor at MSUM, Moorhead. From these experiences as an entrepreneur, educator and consultant, Pam will share her path to success, and what to do when you’re stuck. In this engaging and authentic keynote address, Pam will challenge her audience to explore their own thought processes and lend advice as to how to run a business in a down turn economy.
