Celebration of Multicultural Unity a Success
Organizers of the Celebration of Multicultural Unity would like to thank everyone who performed and participated in last Friday’s program. A huge thanks to the CMU staff for their efforts to accommodate all needs.
The day portion of the program featuring guest speaker Dr. Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez drew about 200 students. She talked about issues the Hispanic culture faces when being portrayed by the media and her research on the role Hispanics played in World War II.
The evening entertainment was diverse and the participants were proud to display their heritage. The event reached MAX capacity according to the CMU Staff.
