Steve Grineski, STL, and Carole Braschayko, Elementary Inclusive Education major and Honors Apprentice, had a manuscript published in The Sophist’s Bane: A Journal of the Society of Professors of Education. The article is titled, “Speaking out about corporate school reform.” Braschayko presented this work at the undergraduate conferences on the Moorhead and Mankato campuses.
The paper “Sex-Based Salary Disparity and the Uses of Multiple Regression for Definition and Remediation” by Magdalene H. Chalikia, Psychology Department, and Verlin B. Hinsz (Psychology Department, NDSU) has been accepted for publication in Current Psychology. The paper will first appear online at the end of October, and in hard version later in November 2013.
Keri DeSutter, School of Teaching and Learning, published a chapter in the Handbook of Research on Teaching and Learning in K-20 Education published by IGI Global. The title of her chapter is “Minority Students in Teacher Education: Diversifying America’s K-12 Teaching Force.”
Teresa Shume, joint appointment between the School of Teaching and Learning and Biosciences, has published a book chapter entitled “Computer Savvy but Technologically Illiterate: Rethinking Technology Literacy” in a book entitled “The Nature of Technology: Implications for Learning and Teaching” published by Sense Publishers.
