Jeremy Carney is presenting at the North Dakota Long Term Care Association’s Fall Professional Development Conference. Approximately 250 helping and health care professionals are attending this year’s event. Dr. Carney will be leading professional development sessions on “The Ethics of Professional Relationships” and “Managing Stress and Secondary Trauma.”

Jeremy Carney and Janelle Miedema, School of Social Work, presented an ethics workshop at the Long Term Care Conference in Bismarck, ND on May 1st for over 100 social worker’s, chaplains, nurses and activity directors. The workshop was entitled: “I Can Live How I Choose: Ethical Considerations Regarding Client Self-Determination and Rural Practice”
