Argentina study abroad – “Human Rights and Sustainability”

Through a partnership between Social Work and the Offices of Sustainability and Diversity and Inclusion, 22 students will travel to Argentina from March 12-24, 2014 (over spring break). Carney presented on “Globalizing Social Work Education”

Dr. Jeremy Carney, School of Social Work, presented at the Minnesota Council on Social Work Education annual conference on Oct. 4. Dr. Carney’s presentation was entitled “Globalizing Social Work Education: Developing a Study-Abroad Experience.” A concrete template for planning a short-term study abroad experience specific to social work education was shared with faculty throughout the region.
