Noyce Scholarship information sessions

Interested in STEM and STEM education? Noyce Scholarships are available for math or science majors who add a teaching major. Current undergraduates are eligible for multi-year scholarships and returning students can receive one year of funding.

Noyce Scholars receive full tuition and partial room/board (a bit more than $13,000 per year).

Faculty led study-abroad course information sessions

Faculty interested in leading short-term study abroad courses in 2018 are invited to information sessions. The process from beginning to end will be covered, with handouts and resources available. These sessions are for both experienced faculty leaders and those new to the process.

The sessions will be held in the Faculty Development Center in the Library on Wednesday, March 1 at 1 p.m., and Thursday, March 2 at 2 p.m. If you are unable to attend one of these sessions please contact Janet Haak, Director of Study Abroad, to set up an individual meeting.

The deadline for proposals is Monday, April 3.

Apply for the National Student Exchange

Are you interested in an opportunity to study at another school next year? The National Student Exchange (NSE) office is accepting applications for the 2014-2015 academic year through Feb. 7, 2014. Participating in NSE gives you the opportunity to study at one of 175 universities for up to one year. Tuition and fees are assessed at the in-state (resident) rate of your host campus or at the rate you normally pay at MSUM. The sessions are scheduled for July 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. and July 23 from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Center for Business, Room 105. Travel requisition and employee expense report changes are being implemented based on the recommendations of both the Lean process and the Business Office staff meetings. Following is a brief preview of the changes to MSUM’s travel policy & procedures:
