MSUM Jazz groups had a successful trip to the 2010 Eau Jazz Festival this past weekend taking four out of seven awards possible. MSUM Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Allen Carter, received third place; Tri-College Combo II, under the direction of Simon Rowe, received second place; Tri-College Combo I, under the direction of Nick Fryer, received first place and an award for “Best Soloist” going to Chris Schuster (NDSU).
