Students planning to apply for 2016-17 study abroad in Japan, Korea, Norway, Australia and England through our exchange programs need to turn in Part One of the application forms by Wednesday, March 30. Stop by BR 249 for forms and information during posted hours.
On March 19th, MSUM students participating the University’s Eurospring Program joined Dr. Allan Chapman for lectures and field trips to the Neo-Lithic sites of Avebury and Stone Henge. The group also visited Salisbury Cathedral, a massive Gothic pilgrimage church that houses one of the four extant copies of the Magna Carta.
The Institute of International Education (IIE), in partnership with Go Overseas and AIFS Study Abroad, CET Academic Programs, IFSA-Butler, STA Travel, launched the #GoStudyAbroad contest calling on everyone to encourage U.S. college students to study abroad by the time they graduate. Students who enter the contest can win a $10k study abroad scholarship (along with other prizes).
At 12:00pm on Friday, March 4th in the Faculty Development Center (LI 124), Janet Haak, the Director of Study Abroad Programs will lead an advising focused workshop: “Advisor Toolkit: Encouraging Study Abroad with your Advisees”. Lunch will be provided.
